A restless man, genius and recklessness, that much had lived, in search of the meaning of life, at sunset on a lucky day, arrived to understand it. The soul kidnapped by a poignant sunset, dazed by the smell of the sea and earth, then, unspoiled, forget everything and... suddenly was evening.

The Lighthouse of Capo Vaticano stretched its beam of soothing light and the soul of Uncle Michael, now in harmony with the voices of nature, was appeased. And here in the magic of this place, he built his home. Then the house sprang up, and Baia del Capo became  the first hotel in the area.

Later, after no little wandering, a young man with his beautiful wife and a roaring baby girl, came and fell in love with Baia del Capo: la Famiglia Pantano. From that day, they made it a paradise, that it is offered to your sight. In recent years, from 1977 onwards, with perseverance, dedication and love, the Pantano made of welcome a point of pride and power of attraction. Rosy, now plays, with recognized competence, the duties of the director, whose patient care, predisposition to beauty, love for the place is the plot from which this lush paradise was born. Harmonizing, then, Calabrian tradition and comfort of the modern world. Every little corner of the garden is treated in any details, each room make relive the history of the region of Calabria recalling the deeds, the works and genius of generous and passionate men, which made it memorable.

The strength is, however, grandmother Tetta, a burly big Sardinia woman, Calabrian for love, unquestioned queen of the kitchen. She moves with the grace of a butterfly among the burners, everything goes out of his hands, everything she looks and every single dish, which variety makes the difficulty of choice, challenge the palate of the gods, and the riot of smells intoxicated guests, sating the senses, enticing hungry and trying his throat.
